Introducing Kickin' It 615

Every day Nashville shows its heart through the tireless efforts of people dedicated to expanding opportunities for every individual to reach as far as their skills, talents, and desires will take them. The latest example within the soccer community is Kickin’ It 615, a new charity devoted to giving children of all backgrounds an opportunity to play soccer without having to worry about purchasing supplies, clothes, meals, or transportation.

Kickin’ It 615 is an outgrowth of Soccer for the Nations – a charity that is run by one of Nashville Soccer Club’s very active supporter groups, The Roadies

Valair Shabilla manages the program and says, “Our main goal is to help as many kids as possible, and thankfully there are organizations around Nashville that are willing to help us achieve it. The Nashville Soccer Supporter’s Trust has shown their continued commitment to our program over time, and we are truly thankful for their contributions to growing the game in Nashville.”

Such a worthy cause deserves support. In that light, last year The Trust outfitted all the kids who played in the Soccer for the Nations league with spikes and shin guards. This year The Trust has stepped up and contributed $1,000 to become one of Kickin’ It 615’s Clean Sheet sponsors, and will provide all the registration fees, player gear, and training equipment for one team.

“There is no place where we can have a more positive impact on our culture, neighborhood, and nation than through our children,” says Trust President David Wasiolek. The Trust is proud to support the noble goals of Kickin’ It 615, goals that align well with the Trust’s own mission.

There are many ways that a person can help this growing organization, including volunteering, donating, or becoming a sponsor at any of the levels shown below.
